Some Frequently Asked Questions by new patients at Groton Chiropractic:

Q. Can I really get massage with my chiropractic adjustment?
A. YES! We offer massage therapy with our chiropractic adjustments for no additional cost. Something that you won’t find at other offices in the area… at least without a big upcharge ;)

Q. Do chiropractic adjustments hurt?
A. Everyone is different and come in in different situations, but in general while there is some feelings of pressure and can be mild discomfort, an adjustment is not painful. Now, if it’s your first ever adjustment, or first in a while, you might have some soreness the next day, just like when you exercise. Some work has been done on your body! But it shouldn’t be severe, and should pass quite quickly. And most importantly, once any uncommon aches do pass, you should feel much better.

Q. Will one adjustment “do it?”
A. Again, everyone is different, but it is uncommon for one adjustment to solve someone’s complaint. Bodies are complex, and often the cause of the pain has taken a long time to build up, and will take some time to resolve. We won’t string you along though, and we do offer plans and packages if you end up being someone who does need several visits to get your body back to feeling fantastic!

Q. Okay, how and when can I schedule an appointment!
A: Awesome! You can call or text us (that’s right!) at 860-445-5000 and schedule an appointment during the week or on Saturday, early, mid day, or even in the evening! We know you have a life, and we’re available when you need us.
